Description
A squadron of Dark Angels and 2 League capital ships engage Navy forces supplying key Colonial positions within the Alpha Centuri system. The S4 Dark Angel was the Leagues primary interceptor, fast, powerful and superior to the Navy's. It is capable of independent flight which can create its own jumpgate without the assistance of an orbital installation or Starship. The name Dark Angel derives from Civilians that first saw it in action in orbit from its silhouette. The wings and darkness in which it was seen gave it the appearance of an 'Angel of death' and performed well enough that it destroyed the Navy supply dump they were targeting.
It was put in full production on underground installations and as one Navy pilot said 'came out of nowhere during a patrol in an asteroid field and ripped us apart without even getting a visual'. The twin laser cannons and warhead launcher coupled with two powerful engines made it a capable fighting machine.

I wish I still had this game, it was the best game I'd ever played. They need to make a new colony wars game.

S-4 Dark Angel. Man, I'd love to have a 3D model of one of these. Β Colony Wars was the best!

This was absolutely my favorite ship in the game. Hands down. If given the choice of this over anything else, I'd choose this. This is a fighter.
