Description
An Alliance Cruiser sits above a planet directing troops to destroy a Cerberus fighter production facility. Its is successful.The Planet is from the Spaceengine heavily modified in photoshop. I wanted something close up and detailed and Terragen is expensive so this seemed like the best alternative.

Nice! ME is a great franchise (as long as you have the extended ending for ME3). There is a free version of Terragen2, though (the free version won't do animation or a few higher level functions, although it does do planets).

You are very welcome. And I am glad you've got Terragen. It's a great application, with one of the best renderers I have ever seen. If you haven't already, take a look at the images forum. There are some really awesome images on there, made by people I would consider "masters". (Although I must say that I don't use Terragen very often anymore, as my own art has tended to the abstract/vector side of things. And I never could wrap my head around the methodology for importing models and manipulating the texture maps!)
When I get the chance, I plan on checking out the rest of your gallery (I have only looked at the first few pages so far, and not with any real time investment).

The model was given to me on a memory stick, a good friend of mine managed to rip from the game. I don't know where you would download them.

That means a lot Overseer! Wanted to get a true ME feel so I went bombastic with the lighting and flare. Hell I even dared to colour the lighting in max for a change with an Orange omni and an ambient Blue!

Yeah color lighting is a great way to add atmosphere. I'm working on a piece myself right now that requires a different kind of ambience lighting!
