Description
my first tutorial.i was sad about the ugly results of all these rust-tutorials so i wanted to show u my solution of creating rust. i did not need rust since i started with PS but i know a lot of people need or just starts with PS.
(i think it really is the best rust effect on net
)so, i would be glad if i could help just one with this tutorial.

Please disregard my comment. I found out what it was... It's just that CS4 takes one to a completely different window layout than what you have shown here.

It would be great if I knew the translation for "Sprenkel" was in english. Not everyone has the same photoshop version as you, regardless of the language. I say this because not all photoshop version are alike in regards to layout and loaded filters.

This looks like an amazing tutorial, and it's on what I really need, I just wish it was for the program I use, Easy Paint Tool SAI instead of Photoshop >.>; Oh well, back to searching I guess.

It is truly a master piece, but I have photoshop cs2, and when I use the use the filter>texture>grain>sprekel step, it turns completely yellow. It makes me sad. T.T

hmmm ... did u try the other options in grain? it should work .. i'm not sure what my version was, because i reinstalled windows and so i deleted (somehow) the registry for my photoshop
