The disappointment with Covenant has lead me to draw it as a reaction. Back from the old glorious days when Alien was actually an alien not a product of some Hannibal Lecter robot from Earth -_-Still something good has come from it, I've drawn my best Xenomorph ever XD
I will also probably redraw facehugger, chestburster, queen, and space jockey in the coming months/years.Β

The original from the movie, as far as I know, he made multiple designs. I mostly plan to draw from Alien and Aliens but I might also do the unused concept for Alien 3 (which was so much better than what they eventually did) in honor to the artist.

I personally have such a disliking for engineers that it has become an inside me where me and some friends just send a picture and say something stupid like " Hey dude wanna buy some Cheerios " and show back to back the original jokey and then the engineer saying " this thing , tall white dood , this amazing piece of art , tall white dood "

I've met with a theory that supposedlyΒ SJ and Engineers aren't the same races but engineers learned from them and mimicked their anatomy with their suits. This is the only form of damage control for now..Β lolΒ

Stil, I find the idea stupid, Xenos were on a thousand-year-old ship already. Introducing one of the biggest cliches of Sci-Fi (rebel robot/computers wants to kill humanity) as an explanation is shitty move.

I hate the Prometheus style wannabe-marvel-movie engineers the most of all alien-related things so I didn't pity them so much XDΒ
Still, it was a shame that idea was not developed further. Prometheus, as undoubtedly flawed as it was, was also good because it was not yet another alien movie. It showed us a bigger picture. Focused on something else. Alien race's culture. Religion. Origins of humanity; apocalyptic intentions of the creators. the whole black goo thing and the realization that Xeno was just one of many types of similar yet unique creatures/hybrids. So many questions... and not a single answer provided by the sequel???

The Xenomorphs in the Alien Covenant movie that David created are not the same Xenos from all the other films (as evidenced by how quickly the Facehuggers could implant embryos into hosts and how the chestbursters just looked like miniature versions of adult Xenos). Hence why they're referred to as Protomorphs.

Yeah, although my head cannon is that both the prometheus black liquid thingamabobs and the hive dwelling aliens are both from the same continuity, with the hive-dwelling aliens having evolved to mimic the black liquid affected creatures.

Weren't the xenomorph older than black goo? David speaks of perfecting the hybrids but I can't help to think that the black goo spawn are fare more deadly than any type of Xeno seen so far.

According to the Novel, the ones we see in Covenant are David's own version of the Xeno. He had found an Ovamorph made by the Engineers which possibly leads to the Classic Xeno

I wait for the space jockey performed by you. This is my favourite character from the sci-fi movies because he is the most mysterious, incomprehensible and ancient. I mean the classical variant which is designed by H.R. Giger, but not modern basketballer-albinos Β Β I think all understand what I speak about, despite my bad English

Yeah, this is what I hated about Prometheus, that they have replaced one of the best designs ever done by Giger with a generic creature that would be more appropriate fighting against Thor in Marvel movie.

The plot is suitable for the Monty Python Flying Circus: stupidΒ cosmonautsΒ in earflaps were defeated by alien mushrooms, an evilΒ pervertΒ android forced a good android to blow into his flute, and a rusty excavator and bulldozer defeated xenomorfs )))
