I think it might be because I portrayed her in full body while most of the scenes were zooms in in the movie

I think it doesn't make much sense to the ship seen in Alien 1 was supposed to be at least several thousands of years old. I know they have altered the alien pilot race in Prometheus but it would be a shame if they completely neglected the original movie. Another thing is that David lied about pretty much every single thing he said. It would be logical he also lied about the origins of the alien race to make himself look greater. He probably just remade some of Engineers' own weapons.

Hmm...well, my son tried to argue this too. That David was working off of something that was already around but the way Scott showed it from how we're to understand it, David was the originator of the Xenomorph species as we come to know it. Scott supposedly said that the next two Alien movies are supposed to tie things up but I think the mistake is already made and that started with Prometheus. What I don't understand is why can't certain things remain a mystery. Why do we need things to be explained and of course when it comes to big budget movies, it plays out poorly. Case in point. Why couldn't the space jockey remain a space jockey which was huger than the race of beings he'd shown in Prometheus. If you look at the corpse, it was more organic than an actual space suit and space suits down rot and fossilize like an organic being unless it was an organic being. Going back to the argument. I'm sorry but it was inferred that he did create this species and given the fact that he had 7 more years (I think it was) to get to the destination planet along with 2 face hugger embryos and a ship full of sleeping passengers in cryo, it's obvious. Huge disappointment and if I'm wrong and I hope I'm wrong, I have to see a convincing argument towards this. Other than that, Aliens died with Ripley. Haha.

I personally appreciate movies 1 and 2 the most. From 3 on it's been a downward spiral. Still, I believe 3 would have been much better if they actually used the design Giger made for them. www.youtube.com/watch?v=DkvzPn… Instead they made this alien quite a generic one, just moving on all fours.
I also found the Covenant be a major disappointment, even bigger than Prometheus. What was good about Prometheus was that it didn't try to be yet another Alien. It focused on different aspects of this world, the alien culture of Engineers, their involvement in origins of mankind, their plans to destroy their creation. And a variety of Xenomorph-like creatures for the first time showing that it isn't entirely unique species but a member of a much longer line of organisms. How were they related to the classic one, what was the origin of this mysterious black liquid etc... These aspects have enriched the world of Alien. Of course, the Space Jockey sucks now and looks more like an attempt of cosplay than a recreation of original monster imgur.com/Rojxb . The differences are so prominent that I've seen people theorizing that Engineers might be entirely different race, that stole/based their technology from ancient Space Jockeys. If this turns out to be true this would be a redeeming factor for Prometheus.
Sadly the covenant does not follow any of these questions and instead gives us David that kills all the Engineers and creates Xeno. Blah. Not to mention other flaws of this movie, like those astronauts who decide to explore an alien planet no man have ever been on without any kind of environmental protection. Damn, with this level of stupidity you don't need a Xenomorph to kill everybody. Regular microbes would do it faster.

You explained everything I like and dislike about Prometheus. Just wanna add that I was boggled at the fact that the characters in Prometheus made a huge deal about safety and alien germs, while the characters in Covenant neglected such safety and procedures and were generally idiotic! You'd think as a sequel Covenant would have at least continued the environmental protection.
