Description Stupid paint lines were giving me trouble, so I did it with pixels instead.

This is my cute defective smeet character. He's old enough to have a designation and a PAK, but he's still very young, and it doesn't help that he's condemned as a "Defective." Because of this, Dr. Vint took him in for study, rescuing him in effect. She did this with a few other defective smeets, and currently has four in her care (including Cheen). While she is not the best "mother-figure," she is decent to them and has given them a relatively better life than they would have had otherwise.

Here, Cheen is wearing his common clothes. This is what he and all the other smeets wear at Vint's laboratory.

Cheen was designed by ~JackassTBD and now belongs to me.

Aww, how cute! I love his facial markings (are those scars?), and his mismatched eyes! And I'm happy that he was rescued. \TwT/ What kind of life would he have lived if he was condemned, though? They wouldn't have killed him, would they?

Thanks! Yes, those are scars, but no one knows how he got them, since he is just a smeet [baby Irken].

Well, there are two kinds of defectives (to the best of my knowledge). The official defectives, as explained in the script of the unaired episode "The Trial," are normal Irkens who are fitted with damaged I.D. PAKs. According to Tallest Purple, they "must be deactivated, erased, never to be remembered." That way their messed-up information doesn't contaminate the rest of the PAKs.

Then there is the second kind, which are Irkens who are genetically defective. (Ironically, most fan-made Irkens are Defective, as you can see by browsing DA. XD) As you can see, little Cheen here has asymmetrical antennae and two different-colored eyes, which is not a normal occurrence in your average Irken. So he would meet the same fate as the other kind of Defective; i.e. total erasure.

Vint wanted to see why some Irkens are genetically Defective, so that's why she's taken to "rescuing" Defective smeets. She always has an ulterior motive.

Welcome. But... wouldn't HE remember how he got them? And wouldn't the smeet be kept in places where they couldn't injure themselves?

Ah, a'kay. lol - Yeah, there seem to be a lot of those going around. NOOOO, the babbies! Screw you, you heartless jerks! I'll save them~! *rushes off*

Oh dear. Poor little smeets.

Very cute, but the anatomy isn't very irken.

Thanks! I didn't want to draw him the traditional Invader Zim style so he looks different than otherwise (round head, more childlike proportions, etc.). :/ Just curious, but how would you say his anatomy should be to look more Irken?
