Summary

Mimi awakens in Neverland- wait, this isn't Neverland. Mimi can see in Neverland, and Puck always comes when she shouts. But no matter how she shouts, Puck never comes to greet her. Mimi deduces that she's stumbled into some strange realm like Neverland. Her previous experience keeps her calm, so she starts exploring this new realm while searching for Markus. Along the way, she's offered platters of food and snacks. Mimi questions who's giving them to her, but the strange servants never answer.

Markus does, though! Mimi and Markus reunite, and we learn that they got here through very similar methods. AKA, they're both silly goofs who thought that walking into the gaping dimensional hole was a good idea. They catch up for a bit before the owner of this realm finally makes his debut. Palgius is here! And he's...oh, he's rather nice. He asks Mimi and Markus if they liked the food, and both answer affirmatively. They assume that Palgius is another inhabitant of this realm. Mimi is absolutely delighted. Markus is too, until he starts noticing that Palgius seems very...opposed to the thought of them leaving.

Slowly, Markus realizes that Palgius isn't just some wormhole 'mon. Palgius is the fabled Guardian of Space who kidnaps naughty Pokemon and drags them away. Markus always thought that fairy tale was just a fairy tale, but it's as real as the Sprites are. Which means that he and Mimi are in some very real danger. Markus attempts to logic his way out of the situation without provoking Palgius, but unfortunately, he can't account for Mimi. Mimi still thinks Palgius is safe. His pleas for her to stay? Mimi assumes that those are pleas for a sleepover. Palgius sees his opportunity and agrees. He just wants a sleepover! Is that reality, or a ploy? Markus can't be sure, so he insists that Mimi needs to head home. After all, she has to ask her mother if a sleepover is allowed, and Markus needs to make lunch!

But Mimi, being honest, reminds Markus that Emilia lets her sleep in the forest. In Mimi's eyes, that's basically a sleepover, so Mimi doesn't need to ask for permission. She insists that Emilia won't mind and even tells Markus to go back alone and check if he's so concerned. Palgius, seeing an opportunity, agrees and sends Markus back. Mimi stays behind, happily getting piggyback rides from the giant legendary.

Markus, meanwhile, awakens in the Fey Forest. The Sprites are disappointed that Markus isn't Mimi, then sympathetic when Emilia shows up. Markus is in trouble again and everyone knows it. Emilia runs forward, happy to see that her neighbor/crush is okay, but then stops and questions the obvious: there's no way in heck that Emilia found Markus before Mimi did. So where is Mimi? Markus awkwardly rubs the back of his head and tells Emilia to sit down, because this story is going to be a doozy...
