"Michael" discovered a strange entity during his early days in TOME that players called "The Forbidden Power" and was put through a harsh and danger-filled experience after being infected by it. With the power now lost in the depths of TOME, Alpha has sought to move on, but still strives to protect his friends, whom he clings to dearly. He battles with elemental powers inspired by his favorite Greek and Roman Gods.

Why the singular focus on only one color for Alpha and Flamegirl (And Kizuna...and Zetto...and ChaseAce...)? You even changed their skin to fit more into the that, but it just makes their eyes stick out, and not in a necessarily good way.

That mark on his shirt makes me think: "OC! DO NOT STEAL!"
Seriously, though, I do like the changes. The collar takes the place of the old scarf, which was sort of symbolic of Alpha's shyness in season 1 (Which I assume is the reason for it being gone in the finale). The reds give off a bold aura and the shorter bang adds to Alpha's new, comfidence-exuding look. Though I question the redder skin a bit. It feels a bit like a palette overload. All in all, I like the new Alpha design, it really shows off the changes he's gone through as a character.
