Voice Actor Chronicles - Episode 17 - Lisa OrtizThe final of the NY-based Voice Actor gals in preparation for NYAF, this time for Lisa Ortiz! Her characters on this one include: Amy Rose from Sonic X (top right), Alicia Whistle from Blue Gender (bottom left), Serenity Wheeler from Yu-Gi-Oh! (left), Tsubasa Shibahime from His & Her Circumstances (right), Flannery from Pokemon (top) and her most well-known role: Lina Inverse from Slayers (bottom right). I had to dig to find certain roles to fill up this one, but I think I found some good choices, particularly Tsubasa who I had just learned of from watching an episode Kare Kano last weekend. Lisa, along with Veronica Taylor and Rachael Lillis, are the big trio who are featured most prominently in NY productions, appearing in tons of anime series throughout the years. Hopefully we'll be able to hear Lisa in more shows in the future.

Oakley!! You should have drawn Oakley from Pokemon Heroes movie she is my favorite villain among Pokemon villains in the anime, Lisa Ortiz done the voice for Oakley and I am surprised you forget her!!

Pretty good but i notice that you got amy's leg color wrong i can clearly see that this artwork about lisa ortiz's work of amy and other characters are 7 years but other than that it looks pretty neat.

On Winx Club, she is Musa and Icy, and Mitzi. She also voices Luna from Yu-Gi-Oh 5D's and Tea Gardner/Anzu from Yu-Gi-Oh.

Even though I'm not particularly fond of 4Kids, Lisa Ortiz does a wonderful job as a voice actress. I loved her as Lina and she makes a good Serenity.

I have to admit that despite my dislike of 4Kids, I do admire Lisa Ortiz and like some of the characters she voices. I think she pulled off Shiori and Lina really well. c:

I noticed that Hilary Haag (Riku in D.N.Angel and Captain Tessa Testarosa in Full Metal Panic) sounds very similar to Lisa Ortiz when she speaks.
