Voice Actor Chronicles - Episode 15 - Veronica TaylorMy first NY-based VAC pic in a while, for a woman who needs no introduction, but gets one anyhow, Veronica Taylor! Her characters on this one include: Tamara from Shaman King (top right), Amelia Tesla from Slayers (bottom right), Yuya Shiina from Samurai Deeper Kyo (bottom left), Jody Summer from F-Zero GP Legend (top) and of course, the ORIGINAL voice of Ash Ketchum (left), May (right) and Diglett (bottom) from Pokemon and carried such roles for about 8 years. Veronica's another NY-based voice actor I have a lot of respect for. She definitely shines above many others, and puts a lot of love and effort into every character I've heard her as. Not hearing her on Pokemon anymore still angers me to this day. Also, for some reason I completely forgot two other BIG roles she's had, including April O'Neal from the new TMNT cartoon, and Miyabi from Ninja Nonsense. Eh, either case I think this one turned out really well. I got to fool around with a bunch of different drawing styles, especially in the characters' faces. I'll be giving this to her at the upcoming NYAnimeFest.

Don't forget Clawdia from Fighting Foodons! My favorite character I was surprised that Veronica done the voice for Clawdia and I remember she sounded so much like May herself!!

She was also Max Taylor and His Mother from Dinosaur King; Sailor Pluto; Tori from Tai Chi Chasers; Sirica from Kirby: Right Back at Ya; and she was even the Ancient Fairy Dragon from Yu-Gi-Oh 5Ds

Veronica Taylor is awesome.
She's the only Ash and May in my book her Ash voice is so iconic and it's awesome. May is her regular voice but still she sounded great in that role I especially love how she did "May's Expedition" in the dub.
Shame she didn't do May's singing in movie six but hey KAORI was pretty good there.

She has a very sweet voice that's almost like a mother's voice which is probably why she fits the role of Ash's mom very perfectly. She sounds like a very sweet person as well.

When I first watched PokΓ©mon, I enjoyed Veronica Taylor as Ash. Now, however, I do not like the new voice actress!
I felt that Veronica was severely robbed and I miss her as Ash.

4Kids may not be the best company but Veronica Taylor was one of the standout actors! Favorite roles from her were Ash Ketchum and May.

She was/is the voice of Nico Robin from One Piece, I just wish that the FUNimation dub had kept her instead of replacing her.

With that said, i think chances for him to return as Zoro/Zolo (Sounds like a Z prounounciation version of Solo to me and i find the name Zoro sounds like a better name for me than Zolo to be honest with you) are extraordinarily slim to me.

From a young child to a preteen, i remember growing up hearin her voice for Ash. Sure, Sarah Natochenny is also awesome voicing him, but it's not the same.

Okay, I didn't know the name of Veronica Taylor when I first watched Pokemon, but now, I know who she is. She did the voice of Ash and his mother very well. And she also did May very greatly, too. Although the new voice actor for Ash tried to do good, she's not perfect for him.

Veronica Taylor was the ONLY voice actor for Ash. They should NEVER have replaced her. I stopped watching when they gave Ash a new voice 'cause it took my childhood and trampled over it. T__T
Although I heard that Veronica Taylor MIGHT be returning to voice Ash in the season 12 (which starts tomorrow). God, I hope it's true....
