Some part of me wonders if before their untimely deaths, Doc and Dahilia had a child that was placed in an adoption system and eventually grew up to become Nathan Wallace from Repo! The Genetic Opera. In my mind, it makes sense since both Doc and Nathan harvest organs (though in Nathan's case, he's mostly doing it because his boss is blackmailing him to do so) and Nathan's last name is Wallace (maybe he only found out his mom's name so he took that). The only thing that trumps this theory somewhat is the time difference; Repo! takes place in the not-too-distant future (2056 to be exact), and while I don't think Pumpkinhead 3 doesn't do anything that dates the film, the first film (which I have not yet seen and up until now I didn't think I needed to see since the third film goes over the important details of the original) may do so since it was released in the late 80s and from what I can tell, anything made/set in the 80s or 90s makes little to no attempt to hide that fact (animated fantasy films like the Little Mermaid being exceptions to that rule [unless it's Aladdin, or one of the films that came late in the Disney Renaissance]). Since Bunt helped Tom Harley find the witch as a child, this may also date the series since the third film takes place about twenty years after the original. Then there's also the argument that he doesn't look like either of them. Β Oh well.Β What do you think?

it is the most wierd and unexpected idea about this movie that I've ever heard.

Well, you can always use the method "in the near future have invented a way to prolong human life, so people of the future age slower than modern humans." or other method is "cryogenically frozen". fiction writers love such things. Β

What do you think about the movie at all?

first film is good and sad. very sad Β

Repo or Pumpkinhead 3?
Repo caught my attention since it was a musical (or a rock opera, I guess), had several actors I recognized, and had an interesting setting and characters. I hesitated to watch it at first since one of the directors also did Saw 2 and 3 (films I have sworn I would never see since I don't think I'd be able to handle the gore) and I knew that there would be violence here too (I watch horror movies for the story and characters, not the gore and sex scenes), but one day I saw it was available to watch so I did. While I felt the plot was a bit rushed (everything pretty much happened in one day, not enough time to develop relationships at all), I liked it and I also liked the Devil's Carnival that came out a few years ago.
As for the third Pumpkinhead film, it was one of the first horror movies I watched and I watched it to get a good idea of how good an actor Doug Bradley was (I hadn't seen any of the Hellraiser films yet, just clips, so I didn't know how he was). I liked this film since it showed the consequences of seeking revenge and I thought Doug's character was really interesting. I think if I were to complain about anything, it'd probably be some of the other characters either acting like giant a-holes (one of the people who summoned Pumpkinhead; I'm sorry your child died, but that's no reason to be a bitch to your husband and the woman he previously had an affair with when they're trying to warn you about Doc trying to kill you [especially since he was in the room with them, waiting for the reminder right moment to strike]) or complete idiots (Bunt, freaking out will only make things worse; PLEASE stop babbling), but I felt the acting was good and the story stayed with me.

Yes, I know
The Genetic Opera is the only musical I like. I do not like musicals in general. but this film I liked
ha ha, for me Pumpkinhead 3 was the first non-Hellraiser film with Doug, I've watched too .

Aw, why not? I think they're awesome, or at least when done right (there's a show on YouTube called Musical Hell that goes over what musicals have done wrong).
There are several songs from Repo that I want to use in Showtunes from Hell (Things You See in a Graveyard and Let the Monster Rise for example). Do you think I should do one of these next or do some other song?
And while we're on the subject, any ideas for the other characters, even if you're not too keen on musicals? I don't want the story to just be Pinsty/Elsty one-shots all the way through, I'd like to focus on other characters too.Β

That's understandable, I feel that way about a majority of mainstream songs.
Zydrate Anatomy? If I can find a character who fits, since I don't know anyone from the series who sold drugs in exchange for money or sexual favors. Or maybe I could replace Zydrate with the box, have the Graverobber be a Guardian, and have this take place in an alternate universe where the cenobites are pretty much in charge of everything (that's kind of what happened in the film; Rotti owns GeneCo and since everyone needed the company to stay alive, he pretty much could do whatever he wanted, including making it legal for the Repo men to kill).
As a side note, I kinda want to marry Terrance Zdunich's singing voice; I guess I like deep voices.Β

Okay, I'll get to work on it as soon as possible. For now, I have to focus on math (it went to something that's somewhat easy, thank God) and memorizing a monologue from Hamlet.

Ha ha, yes! At some moment, I thought that this guy is immortal! He survived a car accident, a case fell on him, the monster threw him out of closed window, and he survived the explosion. I do not even know if the Highlander could boast of such survivability. LOL
