Windows 7 Navigation Buttons Customizer is a freeware from door2windows that allows you to change the navigation buttons in Windows 7.

How To Use:
  • Close all running apps.

  • Run the tool as administrator.

  • Select the bitmap that you want to change.

  • Click Change Selected Bitmap.

  • Select the new bitmap and click Open. If you don't have any bitmaps, get some from here .

    • Now the Windows Explorer will restart and you will be able to see the new bitmap.

    If you change all the bitmaps, you can get a cool look.

    To restore any bitmap, just select the bitmap and click Restore Selected Bitmap.

    You can export them from CG but they cannot be modified.

    Did you try different .bmp files? Try any random .png file in CustomizerGod and check if it gets changed or not.

    Well i have been tried on all Win 7 versions but somehow it doesn't worked, it does not changing at all, it only worked on win 7 professional 64 bit.
    And i recommend you to redesign this app to use .png files instead of .bmp (.bmp files not stable and hard to read by applications, .png files are better because the are easy to use and read and occupies way less space).
    But anyway it's a good and easy applications.

    I have a question. I've been using this for a few years now, and currently tinkering with one of jamie's suites. For some reason, the application will not change the system's navigation buttons to Unity 2014's bmps. I checked the d2d website but there's only a Β nfc scan now routine but that's not my issue. I'm baffled as to why the bmps don't render?

    Yes, classic mode uses a different set of resources. You'll have to change them by opening C:\Windows\system32\explorerframe.dll in CustomizerGod .
