Description
Blender, Poser, MyPaint, Fireworks--
Hello to all! Thanks so much for taking the time to view my work. Wow, I really thought I had this up here already. This scene uses my own Essential Materials 01: P7+, Wild Hair by DigiCalermo (no longer sold anywhere), and DAZ's V4. I made all the items in the scene (including the pantsuit), as well as the materials, lights, pose, and the painting.
I painted the glow at the top, because I just couldn't figure out what should go there until I actually had the picture and was finishing it. I've made a prop for simple ray and glow effects, as well as several textures for it., but I just couldn't make it work as a separate entity.

Your Essential Materials do shine, here and in all your work. They bring an essential component to what I do - couldn't do without them!
This image gives the feeling of the spirit of the Olympics, well, to me, anyway. Maybe it's that orange banner floating up the image or the woman's triumphant gesture or the rays bathing her with a victor's glory.
No matter: it's very effective!

I love the balance and detail in this. The use of the different textures keep it interesting, especially as the ribbon draws the eye over the entire picture. The symmetry creates a great balance. All the colors work well together.
Bravo, this is really a great piece.

You're welcome! I wish I could give you more constructive criticism, but I really don't see anything that doesn't work or needs to be improved. It was really wonderful.

This is really well done. I love it. What part did you use Fireworks for? I like the movement in the image, the flowing cloth, the character moving upwards. ... Great textures and good use of light.

Thanks so much for the feedback! I used Fireworks for the final image prep: matting, title, signature, etc. I also used it for a few of the simple textures, IIRC. Thickness and seam displacement, that sort of thing. I use Photoshop for that work now because Fireworks just hates working at that resolution. But Fireworks is generally better in terms of workflow because it's vector yet full of bitmap effects.

I *Love* the design and composition here. So many other things to love here. The draping of the fabric and the pantsuit, and the background props are wonderful. The lighting, colors, and materials all are excellent together. No real criticisms to offer. I've been looking forward to seeing this since I saw the preview promo of it in the market place. Wonderful work!
