Ink on paper, coloured in Paintshop. The stars, lightning and glow around Shrapnel's antennae were all done with the Picture Tube tool, and a right ruddy pain they were too. Never again.

Third of the " 'cons up pillars" pictures, and certainly the weakest around the pillar at least. Lack of shading and/or any form of detail really does kill the pic somewhat.
Still, the Insecticons look pretty good, and it's not as if they get much art outside of certain specialist circles.
I'm pleased with Bombshell; he makes a neat, contained shape but still has an air of impending movement, which is what I aimed for. Adding the glow to his face-vents was taking a bit of a liberty, but it looks good, I think. His head is a little big, over all, but otherwise I'm pleased with him.
Kickback's probably got the most interesting pose I've ever drawn [how many people ended up face-first in the carpet trying to imitate it?]. His head is a bit small and the colouring on his right forearm is dodgy, but otherwise he's good.
Shrapnel looks a bit too large around the head and shoulders to me, and I'm still annoyed I clipped off a chunk of the glow on one of his shoulders by accident. Still, despite him looking like he's got yellow horns, I'm confident I did a better job of his helmet and horns than the DW:MTME artist did [hah! not hard, that]. Overall, not a shabby piece of work.
