I'm not going to waste my typing time by writing a critique myself, because it's only going to turn out as everyone else says. But since you are new, I'm just gonna say a few things:
Vision: This is a quality that I don't know how to explain, but I think it pretty much says for itself, anyways. XD If I were writing a critique, I would give this one 5 stars.
Originality: Basically meaning creativity or an idea that a few came up with. If I were writing a critique, I would give this one 4 stars, since the beach is just a simple place.
Technique: meaning talent.Β DefinitelyΒ 5 stars for this one, the effects stand out well!
Impact: Don't know how to explain this one, either. XD I guess I can say that it's how the picture stands out to you. I'd give it a 4.

I think this is a very good artwork, the colors look amazing, you captured the seen very well. I like the fact that you took the time to do the background, I believe you have done an amazing job. I believe you will go very far (or I also believe you have gone very very far already!), I wish you much luck in anymore artwork that you do, keep up the amazing and fantastic work you have done!

I'm probably being a KP fan boy but I can't help but give you five stars all around.
Vision:
Stellar performance with background and shading. Highlights are done so it makes the scene look and feel real. The ocean falls back on the horizon perfectly like it's a real life photo. Fantastic job with vision.
Originality:
I don't think I've seen somthing like this anywhere else. Your "at the beach" series is one of a kind, KP, and I'm not just saying that because I love you. Your style resembles that of no one else in the brony art community and that gives you extra brownie points in 'originality'.
Technique:
You've done alot of art and yet, you cease to amaze me. Your body structure and proportions are perfect and with that, you combine the poses you use to make one hell of a drawing technique.
Impact:
When I saw this picture, surges of inspiration swept through my body. You drew cadence in such a way that it literally made me want to draw moar and try new things th are out of my comfort zone. To put it in simple terms, I got the feels.
All in all, this is a fantastic piece and I truly believe it deserves 5 stars all around.

Shining Armor: Yes Cadance?
Cadance: I found a great spot! Could you bring the parasol, the towels and the basket over here? Please?

Shining Armor: Can you tell me why didn't you asked that some servants come with us for that task?
Cadance: Well, they are used to live in cold weather. So, they have a hard time get acclimated to hot regions. I couldn't bear to see them burn under the sun.
Shining Armor arrived with the stuff all lifted with his magic. Cadance standed up and Shining put the towel at the same exact spot she was. Then, Cadance sit on the towel. He planted the parasol at Cadance's side and put the basket close to the parasol.
Shining Armor: So, you told yourself that your husband could do the job himself and sweat at their place...
Cadance: No... I thought it would be a great time to be only with you in this wonderful place....
Shining Armor: Really? That's so sweet.
He nuzzled her before staring at the sea. Mostly the waves.
Cadance: Shining?
Shining Armor: ...
Cadance: Shining?!?
Shining Armor: Uh? Oh! Sorry. I was...
Cadance: *sigh* Go ahead.
Shining Armor: Uh.... Going.... where?
Cadance: I've seen you staring at those waves the same way as last time. I know what you want. *smile* Go have fun Shining.
Shining Armor: Really? Thank you honey.
He hastily kissed her on the mouth, a big smile on his face. He was beginning to gallop in the direction of the surfing renting shop when Cadance stopped him.
Cadance: Wait, Shining!
Shining Armor: Uh? Yes, Cadance my sweet? What is it, my love?
Cadance: Your sweet loving wife wants you to put sunscreen on her back before you go. Can you do that for your sweet loving wife?
Shining Armor: *sigh* Of course.
Wonderful work. I wasn't sure if it was teenage or adult Cadance. The story is about the adult, married Cadance.
