Botwoon maridia's miniboss from super metroid.

This battle....well from all the battles in the game this may be the less memorable, it comes out of nowhere, it has the same theme as spore spawn, it doesn't give you any upgrade it's just a miniboss you beat to keep explorin the deepest part of maridia, but I decided to dedicate a nice drawing to it, I changed the location from a enclosed cave to an open bottom lake arena with the sun iluminating.
Gotta say this battle reminds me a lot to Volvagia from ocarina of time, the enemy design the battle itself with it comming out from different random holes.
But here is underwater and instead of using a hammer and arrows you use super missiles.

Well here it is my first drawing trying an underwater envirioment, it wasn't easy but I think it came out ok, feels good to be back to my regular metroid drawings after almost 6 months working on my final school proyect.
