I swear I'll get back to drawing maps at some point, but for now, more planes!I decided to draw an alternate Soviet aircraft. I was designing alternate Japanese planes based off our world's Soviet planes, so I decided to do something similar and design an alternate Soviet plane based off one of our world's US aircraft. Specifically, I designed a Soviet version of the Delta Dart.
UATO stands for "United Alliance Treaty Organisation", an alternate version of NATO that includes more nations like Japan and Korea, and as such cannot rightly be called the "North Atlantic Treaty Organisation".

Thanks! The name was inspired by our timeline's NATO callsigns, a lot of Soviet fighters were called "Fox*something*" because the callsigns for fighters have to start with the letter "F". The "-dart" part just seemed appropriate, considering the fact that I based the aircraft off the Delta Dart.

That's right a USAF colonel came up with the system if I remember correctly. He worked for TAI during WWII in the Pacific. Would be interesting to see some Soviet bombers of the TL.
