This tutorial was not awful at all!!! In fact, this is one of the best tutorials I've seen so far. Most of the others that I have come across are either way too confusing and/or sloppy, and often skip steps. I'm CGing something seriously for the first time, and yours is the only one that is actually helping me so far. x_x;; Thank you!!! XD

Mmmm... Pretty good. ^-^ I think there's only a few things you forgot to look at. The only real one I noticed, however, was how would one go about coloring a line art drawn traditionally, and that has been set to "multiply" while being colored in photoshop?
And in my experiences with Photoshop (I use CS2, by the way, but I also have Elements 2.0)... Every time I use multiple clipping masks, it only masks to the beta layer, so when I do the second layer and clipping mask it to do the darker shading, I have problems keeping the darker shading inside the lighter shading to get that sort of gradiented look. Have you ever had this problem?

Double-click on your line art layer, then for the blending mode, [or w/e it is. XD] set it to multiply~
