This is the tutorial for the quick study painting of rocks (Rock Study One) for which the techniques may be used in a real, full-scale painting. I assume that you have read some simple tutorials on how to paint a rock that are available around. With that knowledge, this study will show you how to paint rocks and rock formation in a real painting. I did not try to make a perfect painting here; instead, it is a quick study which serves as a practice for me, and a tutorial for anyone who is interested in painting rocks in landscapes.
