Description
This was very interesting...At the base of the tree, there was a gash in the bark. The gash was caused by a lawn trimmer that had cut into the tree. These butterflies and Japanese Beetles where absolutely feasting on the maple sap that flowed just below the surface. They were almost intoxicated by the sugar that they didn't mind be getting as close as I wanted.©Copyright Kyle Wright. Thank you! I will try to find another picture that I have that has so many grouped together on a plant that it looks like a cluster of grapes.
