The Eight Canine Warriors had learned that biting the hand that fed you was a bad idea, but in this case they had been asked to make an exception. The most powerful and aggressive of their number apparently had some issues with Amaterasu wandering around his turf, and had ordered her submission. Half their number participated reluctantly, having remembered the goddess's help when they were hungry and looking for food, but orders were meant to be obeyed. As it had turned out, her capture had meant they could easily loot her supplies of meat, giving them all intense satisfaction at their work. They didn't even need to share with the food’s previous owner. The leather orb in her mouth made it so she could taste nothing but her tough, unforgiving gag.

Raised as honorable warriors, the canine fighters would never have considered taking advantage of the helpless wolf, even if her spread legs, raised bottom, and tail pulled over her back made her ripe for the taking. Their pleasure came instead from satisfaction at the quality of their work. It might not have been as artistic as rope bondage, perhaps, but each piece of gear kept her in precisely the place they wanted, her blindfold and tail clip rendering her brushwork useless. As they chatted with each other, hoping that their mistress would reward them for such an achievement, they nonetheless kept a firm grip on the leashes attached to the goddess's collar. As long as one leash was in place, Amaterasu was as helpless as ... well, as herself, really. But one had to make sure. Her submission could not be broken.
