2018 - WatercolorIt is considered as a noxious weed (it does indeed grow everywhere !) but I found its shape and colors really interesting.
I was not sure whether this painting needed a background or not, so I took a picture before painting the background.
Which one do you prefer ? White or blue background ?

Lovely rendering. Call me old fashioned, but I think I prefer the crisp white background, rather than the washed blue. Either way, I always enjoy your plant studies.

Oh gosh, I can't decide. Seeing as the blue one popped into my inbox first I was sure I liked that one best, but now I'm looking at the white I really liked the clean presentation of it and the 'botanical illustration' feel of it all. It's gorgeous either way
