Description
I know there's a lot of kitvoren stuff lately I'm sorry ;w;toyhou.se/1710166.bloodsong-ki…
This was the planned equipment to be worn by kitvoren when the Creators enacted their war plans.
1. Mounted to the head is a combo camera/GPS tracker and gas release valve. The camera allowed for human intervention in case a kitvoren became trapped or captured. Instructions would be sent through a radiation kit the kitvoren carried, detailing how they could escape and continue the mission.
The gas release faces towards wherever the kitvoren is looking, threatening a spray of a gas to engulf any nearby enemies. The gases used vary from uncomfortable to lethal.
2. This is the gas delivery pipe, which also contains radiation implants that send signals and instructions to the kitvoren's brain. Both these systems are normally remotely operated by the same human who monitors the camera, but there is a failsafe switch the kitvoren can access itself in case it is cut off from its guiding human. This way, it can control the the gas valve.
3. All kitvoren were to be outfitted with camouflage tarps along with their other gear. This was due to flaws in the kitvoren creation process, which caused colour patterns to be uncontrollable and unpredictable. Because many kitvoren ended up with bright colours as a result, camouflage tarps were the Creator's last-minute backup plan.
4. The kitvoren's primary gear. It contained four pouches, two on each side, along with straps for extra pouches if deemed necessary.
One pouch contained various compressed gas canisters which were all hooked up to the pipe. Which gas was released would vary depending on the human input commands.
Another pouch contained the radiation transmitter, a technology developed by the Creators to control the thoughts of kitvoren without using radios- radiowaves were too high risk as it was a technology that could be easily manipulated by the enemy.
The remaining two pouches were loaded with bombs and grenades, to be used at the kitvoren's own discretion. The grenades were standard, nothing special. The bombs however had two variations- standard and radiation. The standard bombs were for use while cornered, as most kitvoren can withstand them at point-blank range. But the radiation bombs were for suicide use as they triggered the kitvoren's radioactive decay, which violently kills them and most other life within a 10 mile radius. Due to their repeated reluctance to use this device in testing, it had a failsafe installed that could be activated by the humans who monitored them.
These plans never made it to use, and only a couple complete prototypes exist. Those who find and study artifacts from the destroyed lab often question why this gear was needed at all, since kitvoren are strong and smart enough to decimate armies. Currently, the only plausible theory is that the Creators either underestimated their intelligence, or feared it.
