So...I'm talking in Angel Falls Chat one night, and drops word on this guy, , who does character profiles. Now, I'd seen a couple of these around before, and they were nice. In fact, they look a lot like the profiles out of the Marvel Universe RPG book (of which I am a HUGE fan of btw) so when I heard about a person doing these I had to go look him up. At first, I thought to myself, "Pfft...character profiles? I've got a bio on my page. What makes these so special?" I think after reading my bio page and comparing it with what's above you will be able to see and tell the difference. UrsaMagnus is a wizard at taking what you already have and improving it, making it sound more like what should have been in the bio/character profile in the first place, and putting it into a format that fits the super hero genre, making it seem "more real" for people. One of the comments on one of the numerous profiles he's done said, "A character isn't a TRUE character until it has one of these profiles." and I can see why they would say that. It's like getting your character legitimized somehow, and it feels good.

on his page said he had fun with LQ's profile because it had a LOT of information and that she was the first character that he had to expand out to over two pages. I'm not sure if that's a good thing or not, (it could just mean I'm long winded. ) but if he had fun, then that IS a good thing in my book. Also, the first comment on his page when he posted this was saying, "I think I really like her! She's extremely powerful, but not without a reasonable set of weaknesses. Rather well balanced, I'd say." Thank you for this. You have no idea how happy that made me feel. Most people take one look at LQ and think she's going to sink the planet! She's not, of course, and I think UrsaMagnus did a wonderful job of showing that she IS powerful but keeps herself in check, and also has weaknesses that can be exploited by the cunning villain.

I'd like to go ahead at this time to point fingers at people. and I had to have their art put into this. Specifically Joe's, but Johnny's is just so dynamic it needed to be in there as well. UrsaMagus asked me what kind of art I wanted in it, and I said, "Go for it. Go through my gallery. But I want THAT one." So I think he did an amazing job with the layout showing off not only my art, but a couple of great artist who are wonderful friends to me as well. Thanks guys! (I would also like to point out that if Eve took one look at Steel Wolf she would shout at him, "NO CAPES!!!" )

So...here it is folks, an updated, and pretty darn awesome character profile for Lady Quantum. I hope you all like it and give her some love. You never know, she just might be needed in the next big catastrophe that befalls Angel Falls.
