Description
Salutations!Here is my Android character, André Lombardi, singing a song. As an Android he can replicate a choir out of himself
Since his career is in singing I thought it would be symbolic if I drew him a pair of Steampunk themed angel wings with circuitry on them. Who knows he might even where his wings at his concerts. The background for this piece was inspired by The Eldridge Street Synagogue which is located in Manhattan, New York. Since it looked futuristic I thought it would be appropriate to use it as a reference. Though I was mainly inspired my Josh Groban's music when I was working on this piece. Someday, if my story ever becomes an animated movie I would totally pay Josh Groban to voice him because he has a warm silky masculine voice

Nice work. I love the background. It looks so smooth and the colors flow nicely with each other. Your character reminds me of a futuristic phantom from The Phantom of the Opera. XD

nice, you should look at references to try and get more of an android look, I couldnt tell till i read the description.

Thanks for the suggestion I tried looking at Android references by googling images of them and I get mixed results some look robotic while others look like humans. With my version of an Android I tried to mix in human (hair, clothes, and facial features) and mechanical (eyes, grey skin, blue electrical rings on neck and fingers) like appearance.

Ah yes it was tedious and very time consuming to cut out André and merging him in with the background but the end results was worth it

You know, I've walked through Manhattan a lot (I live in NYC) and I've never seen that synagogue.
Anyway, I like how this picture came out. I can hear him singing now...
