Description
Another Flying Scotsman related deviation. A kind of random. The main thing is - enjoying the life how it is...And yes. I have my happy ticket. August 24. ELR. Can't believe....

My too. But I would like to see his character more RWS-like.

You've captured the look of a Gresley A3, the Forth Bridge deck and superstructure and even Henry (given the hashtags I presume that needs no further explanation?)
Being critical I would have to say that the bridge deck is considerably higher above the Firth of Forth than it looks here. I can't find you any reference photos but the bridge's air draft is given as 46m at high water.

Thank you! Not really understand about Henry... Given hashtags was due to using the face actually. I watched different photos, but this view came from my imagination. I don't like to redraw real photos...

"Henry the Green Engine", originally based on an actual Gresley design for the LNER in the original Rev W Audry books. Opinions differ as to whether he was based on an A1 or an A3.

TERRIFIC!! ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!Β Β Β Β
Makes Flying Scotsman look cooler puffing through a modern-looking bridge.

Also - I'm actually from Scotland and the Forth (Rail) Bridge is considerably older than the Gresley A3 Pacifics.

That's funny, but the brigde is older than Flying Scotsman. /Or I drew it bad. /

Visiting again for the first time since Terence Cuneo painted Flying Scotsman's photo on canvas back in 1964 when William Thorpe granted Mr. Pegler permission to "rent" it for a few days whilst Mr. Cuneo worked his magic on painting 60103's picture.Β IΒ Β it well doneΒ !!!!!!!!!!Β

I saw this outstanding art. It's really amazing. I like this 'game' with light-shadow, perspective and steam.
