WolfPark - 2011Wotan, Beta Male - Main pack.
I was at Wolfpark a couple Saturday's ago, and spent the whole, bitingly cold afternoon, photographing the main pack of wolves. Oh, and don't get me wrong I am not complaining about the weather. Yes, it was damn cold. Yes, it was raining. Yes, it was windy. Yes, it began to snow. Did I care? No.
The weather just added to the wolves already photogenetic allure. There was no bright sun to make them lazy or lethargic in the middle of the day, and the rain made their fur stand out beautifully.
Yes. I am still going through the pictures. I took over 1800 images that day. Twice as many as I've taken since the beginning of the year together. Some I will probably eventually discard, a few I've put on my stock account for manipulators, and some I will probably have printed.
I know this is probably boring to anyone reading this entry. But, do not overlook the following link. If possible make it to northern Indiana and see them for yourself.

You should revisit. They have added several human amenities to the park, along with of course the new pack of wolves.

I am SO not bored! I appreciate all the info you post about Wolf Park. And I can well understand your dilemma as to sorting through all the pictures. The last time I was there I was using a film camera and took 75 rolls of pictures.

It did, hence the need for a good new digital when I go back. It will be cheaper to buy a new camera!
