Wolfpark - 2011Wolfgang, Alpha Male - Main pack.
& Dharma, Pup(No rank) Female - Main pack.
I was at Wolfpark this past Saturday, and spent the whole, bitingly cold afternoon, photographing the main pack of wolves. Oh, and don't get me wrong I am not complaining about the weather. Yes, it was damn cold. Yes, it was raining. Yes, it was windy. Yes, it began to snow. Did I care? No.
The weather just added to the wolves already photogenetic allure. There was no bright sun to make them lazy or lethargic in the middle of the day, and the rain made their fur stand out beautifully.
Say hello to Wolfgang and Dharma. Wolfgang is Alpha of the main pack, him and his brother Wotan staged a coo and deposed Tristan. Little Dharma is brand new to the pack this year.
Yes. They are wonderful.

She certainly wasn't that day. However, they'd taken Khalani out of the enclosure, and she tends to micromanage everyone Pat said. Lol. So, maybe she was just glad for the break.
