Description
Afterwork: Wolf shot really reduced in size. LOL, sharpened a bit, and then the lettering. Not much to this one but I liked the end result.I'm a little behind for Wolf Awareness Week, which was the third week in October, but it occurs every year. If you'd like to check out the website it has some great information on wolf newsletters, publications, places to adopt them and where you can visit.
Wolf Awareness Week
PS. The wolf pictured in this stamp was called Chani, she lived at Wolfpark the place I adopt wolves and while she's dead now I thought this a fitting tribute for her. If you'd like to see her, and the family of wolves she lived with you can visit Wolfpark on the web at:

***Due to school responsiblities and concens I can no longer reply to every favorite I receive on some of these stamps. I will try to keep up with the comments. But, my mail on DA is overwhelming. Thank you, everyone, for the favorites. I enjoyed making these immensely and I am thrilled to see them displayed on various accounts.

Yeah but don't wolves attack and eat people a lot?

Um, wolves do not kill and eat humans, and from a book called The Wolf- Ecology and Behavior of an Endangered species it said '' Authorities agree, has never in this county attacked a man'' but their has been some cases (very VERY little) of wolves attacking a town, viciously, taking children at night, (I think, this may not be true...) Wolves are GOOD not evil, dont NOT believe this ever! Ha ha!

You do of course realise the "The Wolf- Ecology and Behavior of an Endangered species" is now outdated? It has since been re-written by the same author as "Wolves- Behaviour, Ecology and Conservation". It gives quite a different story; [link]

*Sigh*
There is no way for me to respond to the term 'a lot'. What determines that number? Do wolves attack and kill, yes. Do they eat people? They are carnivores and eat meat; as do all other carnivores, including man. Wolves and other predatory animals do what they were born to do, and in some cases are a more healthy, intelligent and useful species than man. That, is naturally my opinion, if you want education though, try the website, attached to this stamp.

I'll remind you that wikipedia is not a valid source for information. It is user oriented, which means anyone can change any post at any time. Perhaps you should try a more reputable source.

You do realize Wikipedia links their sources at the bottom, correct? That's what it means to 'cite your sources'.
Here, since you are too lazy to click on those sources:

Sadly, I doubt the message would get across. But, I do like the idea.

I commend you for doing a report on it. Even with the bad grade. A shame that it's that people remember, instead of the content of your assignment.
