I still can't believe this is all ink! This is so good! Cornelia's expression is so worried and determined at the same time while Trenton is so drained of life and on death's doorstep! Beautiful work! I really like how you were able to work around the tiny star Reflections in the water also! Get that man to the shore, woman!

Thank you!!Β I think that I'm going to be filling up this sketchbook fairly quickly at the rate I'm going!Β I feel like the markers are similar to paints, but more manageable and easier to layer.
I actually used a little whiteout pen for the stars (because I am cheap lol), which has been really nifty for outlining and adding white areas to these marker pieces.

Oh no! What happened to him?! Why is he wounded?! (Good colouring on the whole pale, blood-loss look btw!) And I like how you've drawn the droplets of water streaming off both of them. The way you've drawn the rivulets of water around them too is incredible. Go Cornelia! Save him! Save him!! Loving this AU

Shipwrecks are brutal, man--or getting caught in the middle of a mutiny--I haven't decided on how he winds up overboard yet! lol

Ummmm, so there's the Spy, 80s, Regency, Star Trek TNG, and now the Mermaid AU.Β The first two are more planned-out than the rest, and I'm pretty sure I'll be throwing some sort of sci fi one in there eventually...it's inevitable!

What's a merCornelia to do? I love how she's looking around in anxiety and slight panic - now what, curse my need to help. The black in the water not only makes the piece more ominous but is great at reflecting the night-time feel
