At this point, the two scotsmen are beginning to wear down. Both came towards each other in drunken stupor, barely holding their feet together. Finley laid some blows to Scott's face. The black scotsman retaliated with a hard elbow to his right eye. Finley felt a burst of pain swelled up in his eye and charged himself for a tackle that sent the two men into the ropes. Scott quickly grabbed Finely by his waist to prevent himself from falling through, giving a sharp glare to his opponent's face. Finley replied with a weak smirk and unleashed a barrage of punches. Scott was helpless as he was stuck holding the white scot with his arms. He did his best withstanding every punch.

A fountain of blood spilled over the edge of the ring that came to a close as Finley halted his assault. In front of him was his opponent, extremely weakened and battered. Within this brief respite, Scott took the opportunity to use his last spurt of strength to quickly change position and hold his opponent's head from behind. The two wrestled for a bit but Scott's grip laid tight and with anger he began to ram hard punches to Finley's ribs. The helpless scot spurred out spit and blood with every blow, feeling intense pain. Scott made his punches even harder, with the intent on destroying Finley's rib cage. No sooner did it broke apart, Finley puked out bile and blood as he felt the shards of his ribs digging into parts of his internal organs. Scott stopped his assault satisfied with his harsh handiwork, he lets go his arms gripping Finley's neck as the white scot fell down to the mat writhing in pain. Scott looked down at him for a moment, using his last bit of anger to throw a hard kick to his stomach. The force was too much for him however as he slipped on himself as fell down next to his opponent. Both men now lay down at the mat, with the bell ringing the end of the penultimate round. It took them a while to slowly get back on their feet and to their respective corners. It was clear that they wore both done, especially Finley who needed medical attention for his broken ribs.

Despite it, both men looked at each other across the ring, not ready to give up. They knew there was one more round to go and they're willing to finish this fight.
