"Reality is an illusion! The universe is a hologram! Buy gold! Bye!"I binged watched the first season of Gravity Falls over the past few days for the first time - literally two days - and decided to draw fan art of Bill Cipher. He's my favorite character from the series. He says the most random crap and I love it. He's such an Illuminacho. I'm actually surprised about the content they were able to get away with in this series.
I can still hear the angry screams of a thousand religious families when they saw their child watch the first episode with Bill. Good times.
Animated in SAI, sequenced in Photoshop. I don't suggest doing that. It hurts so much.

The artwork overall is really good! ^^
There is really much detail in the animation, for example in the backround, on the glow and on the fire. ^^ Also good use of color here!

I'm glad someone mentioned how good the animation was. My laptop iss super slow with things like this and I can never view gifs correctly - the only thing I could do was check the frames in SAI and hope that it was clean. I have absolutely no idea how this looks animated because it. I assume since no one said it was choppy, it must be fine. This is my first time animating fire without someone teaching me how, so I'm glad it turned out decent. Glows are very annoying to animate. I can only imagine the pain some animators go through when drawing something like this for longer than a few seconds.

Thats absolutely true, I made an animation once which lasts for three seconds, but it was quite difficult to just draw every single frame necessary for the whole thing, this need a lot more patience than just drawing. 
I sometimes ask myself how other artists manage to create longer animations, I already get tired with making a short one... ^^

The only way I'd ever do a long animation is if I actually got flash. There's no way I could do the entire thing in SAI. I'd rather swallow used gum.
