Iwe been working on some realistic rocket engines for a couple of weeks now. this is one of them.
This one is mostly finished. just a few things here and there.I guess the most difficult for this one was finding good high res images of the turbopump assembly.
i think i got it mostly right but i did have to use my imagination a bit in some areas.

Im currently working on 5 or so iconic american rocket engines at the same time. so i just do a bit on each of them when i can. trying to switch when i need to take a fresh look.
This render is very basic. no shadows just a single ao pass on plain colors. Will make a proper vray render when it is done.
