Description Full view to see the movie

This video was taken during my first tattoo session over two years ago (february 14th 2003). What you see is 7 hours of tattooing condensed into 1:22 or so...

P.s. I do not recommend getting tattooed for 7 hours in one day... Whew...

That was one of the harder parts... I thought for a long time on what to get. But in the end... I couldn't have picked anything better no matter how hard I tried...

I recommend designing something with the artist who's going to be applying it...

Yeah, I wish I'd documented the rest of the progression of the tattoo a bit more... But it's a bit late for that now...

Hehe Thanks!

wow. 7 hours? thats insane.
My cousins got about 20 tattoos, I never got to see him get them done.. but when I was waiting to get pierced I watched this guy get a tattoo. He was all raw and bloody and it was no where near as big as yours.

The first 5 hours weren't so bad. It was that last hour and a half that got to me. My whole body was twitching uncontrollably.

What I can't imagine, is I have a friend who got tattooed for 7 hours a day for 3 days in a row... I am dumbfounded by her ability to do that. The skin is so raw the next day. I once only waited 2 weeks between sessions and when he went over the spot from the previous session... It was brutal... Oh lord did that hurt...

It's weird... Sometimes it hurts a lot... And sometimes you can barely feel it (Relatively speaking).

Holy shitbox! You can actually see your back getting more red by the second. Thats pretty cool, you are a braver man than I. Personally needles scare the shit out of me or else I would be the tattoo king. Its a cool looking tattoo though, kudos on picking a good design.

If and when it finally one day gets finished... I shall post a picture of it on here... It's grown quite considerably in the past 2 years...

Yeah, I can understand that. It's a tree. (Go figure)...

It's hard to see because it just has the outline on there with no shading and no depth. Not to mention it's a reaaaally busy drawing. There's branches going everywhere. I'll bet if you watch it again, you'll see it pretty quickly. In fact you'll probably never be able to see it as anything but a tree now.

And it's come a long way since that first session. I assure you it is very easily recognizable now.

My sculpure professors girlfriend has a bunch of tattoos on her back covers about the same area as yours, hers are called scarrings....I believe......they do the tattoo, then redo it like everyday. Not sure how it works but she has these beautiful designs all in scars, I dont believe much if any ink was involved.

Ahhhh yes. I think that's done with water instead of ink. I've also seen some white tattoos that look quite nice. Very subtle. Although the white ones fade over time a bit...

dont believe I have ever seen one done with white ink, it must have been with water, it looked really cool though. Very clean looking.

Shoot man. You should see it now. We've been working on the 2nd pass of the shading the last 3 or 4 sessions... It's incredible... I can't wait till we get the white on there too... 9 days till my next session....

Like clockwork my friend!

Hehe. I was cleaning up my room yesterday and came across that paper with the drawing you did of me on it and the line about the lines on your skin. Haha. It's so cute.
