Description
Just to see what I could do if I went closer to what Flamekin had and honored the source copy a bit more...The copy kinda wrote itself.
This is another revised version of Flamekin2's 'Cybernetic Transformation', pg 18 (seen HERE:flamekin2.deviantart.com/art/C… ) , but the lovebirds go for a partial memory wipe, keeping their memories/ feelings for each other & thier names, but letting the REST of the memories go.
I figure they didn't really like MOST of their families...
I kinda like some of the copy here (My TRUE preference is Version 1, as it makes things MORE interesting for them in the future), but I do like the fact that, in THIS, we get to see 4076 EMBARRASSED by mushy emotions!
AND she gets GLOMPED! Twice!

"Interesting. Most sisters consider the memories of their former lives to be dead weight. The fact that they aren't really destroyed, merely put in storage and preserved for posterity and presented to the whole to be analyzed to better our understanding actually normally convinces those who are reluctant to let go of them. And of THOSE who hold out after that, they normally let go after eighty or hundred solar cycles."

And we see a bit of 4076's elusive softer side...
I was thinking about your earlier comment about the two G's wondering about WHY some of the new Sisters would hold on to the memories, so I included the 'feeling new' part.
I'd figure that 4076 has seen EVERY permutation of the memory question under the suns, and has DONE every permutation for her new Sisters. There would be Specimen who had a HORRIBLE life and would opt for a 'tabula rasa'/clean sheet, and then there would be others with loving families who WOULD want to hold on to those memories as they continue to evolve over the millennia in their new bodies...
But FEW are as ENTHUSIASTIC as Ellie and Adam/Alexis.
For some reason, I can see the term 'Specimen' being used either in a derogatory fashion...or as a LOVING term between a Gynoidian and their much-loved Sister-to-be...("You are...MY Specimen...! 0////0)
...
Yeah, I'm thinking about this too much!
Thanks for the fave, BTW!

Food for thought.
