Garth (nicknamed from Garenthas)
Background: a young man whose honour, sense of duty and ambition all demand that he claim his place as a Dragonlord, and steer the country away from war…

Lyviana
Background: the crown princess of a country destroyed in the fires of war, she remains an ambitious young lady with a strong love for her homeland.

Garth and Lyviana first meet in the wake of the war that destroys her homeland. Both very ambitious and headstrong, they share an immense sense of duty to help others. She born with a duty to her people, and he finding his upon the discovery of the dragonstone, they both agree that something must be done to save the world from war. “The what” is where they clash, preventing them from having an uncomplicated friendship. Through the years they grow to be friends, with romantic interest in one another, but duty will always come to them first. Their interactions are all characterized by their exasperating friendly rivalry towards one another.
