Heh, it's my first tutorial, so go easy on me please.
Also fave if you found it useful/think people will find it useful, so that in the future I can make another tutorial.Suitable for people with a decent knowledge of Photoshop 7 and above.

You mean the scanlines? Well, there should be several scanline patterns you can download here on dA if you search. After you download them, open photoshop and go to edit>fill, then from the drop down menu click "pattern", then at the side somewhere you should see a little arrow button, click it, then go to "load patterns" find the pattern set you downloaded and then click ok, and it should appear in your pattern's library, then all you do is find the one you want to use, and click "fill".

Maybe you should try some beginners tutorials before you try out this one? Just search "Sig tutorials for beginners" and you should get some good results. =]
