Description Well, I guess in a way I released a comp series of three, not really what I had in mind though...

Here we are again with the remake of the second creature comp, and honestly this has to be one of my favorites to date! Which is funny because the original was one of my least favorites, having so much wasted space and uneven placement of each of the creatures. Now though it's just so even. So perfect...
You can see the previous version here: Creature Compilation Round 2

For those who haven't been following the series, the Creature Comps are a group of penned creatures either from my main projects (Galena Fakedex, Pterraforming, Lucid, a Terraria thing, and Wings) or fan art of other people's creatures from their own projects. Think of it as a sample tray for my/other's projects. It should be noted that, unless an "official" version of a creature is posted before the comp itself, all the designs in the comps aren't set in stone and may be different in their final version.

So with that said, let's get right to it!

F = Fakemon, P = Pterraforming, L = Lucid, R = Requests or fan art (Mostly fan art, F was already taken), T = Terraria, W = Wings

1: [Request] Fan art of Rexander134 's Titanoboa fossil Fakemon Titanodator. I made a few changes to the design to help Pokefy it a bit more and balance out the design, such as the ridges along the back and changes to the shape of the spots. For the remake, I changed up the spots even more to incorporate some of the original design's markings
You can find more information on Titanodator here: Fossil Pokmon concept # 3

2: [Lucid] Tier 1 boss Dr Dackdul trying to wrangle in his three rambunctious flaplings Peep, Peck, and Flap. Dr Dackdul was a very early character of mine, also inspired by a real character, this time from *I think* Ducktales or Darkwing Duck or something... It was a long time ago and I only caught glimpses of the episode while over at a friends house, but being a pteronerd even then I fell in love with the concept. Dr Dackdul is an extradimensional mad scientist originating from a cartoony world where all dinosaurs/pterosaurs/marine reptiles have sapience, and live in a "modern" setting. Having discovered how to Realm-Hop, Dr Dackdul plans on using the powers (and hired help) from the dimensions he invades to take over the world (of course!). His mate, who ends up having to do most of the child raising and home keeping due to Dr Dackdul's obsession with his work, strongly disapproves of this, simply wanting her mate to be home with them. Despite his obsession, Dr Dackdul does love his family, but his delve into madness is slowly driving them apart.
You can see a more detailed picture of DR Dackdul here: [Lucid] Dr Dackdul (Base Form) [Tier 1 Boss] and his alternate form here: [Lucid] Dr Dackdul (Pteradon Form) [Tier 1 Boss]
I also found some old drawings of him from way back in the day, if interested: sta.sh/22duv9ken1yc

3: [Fakemon] Redraw of my old Acerbies fire starter Bunnire, or as it's been jokingly referred to for many years, "fork bunny". Bunnire follows the rabbit theme of the fire type Chinese zodiac. And yes I KNOW Scorbunny exists, but I made Bunnire long before sword and shield and, lets be honest, Scorbunny looks more like a Loony Toon character than a Pokemon. That being said, gens 6 onward are non-cannon in my Pokemon series, so it really doesn't matter. Bunnire are based off of European rabbits and the jackalope myth, with bits of Watership Down lore mixed in, such as glowing markings in the ear meant to be a nod to the bits of starlight in El-ahrairah's new ears gifted to him by Frith (The Story of El-ahrairah and the Black Rabbit of Inlé) . Bunnire are skittish but cunning, able to craft tricks with fire or illusions to escape danger when speed alone can't save them. They live in connected burrows underground, heated in cold times by their own fire. In spring and summer, Bunnires will all gather greens and grasses for the winter months, drying them into a hay pile to better preserve. The "fork" on their head acts as a wand of sorts, focusing magical and fire abilities to greater effect.

4: [Request] Fan art of Rexander134 's royal sphinx. I ended up altering the design quite a bit, such as making the wings larger, giving them a mane, adding two extra tails, making the face a bit more lynx like, and so forth. I definitely wanted to put more emphasis on the "royal" part of the royal sphinx, which I feel my last drawing just didn't capture. The extra tails are a nod to royal crests, many of which depict lions with extra tails. They also conveniently fill in dead space in the comp
You can find more information on royal sphinxes here: Common Sphinx: Royal

5: [Lucid] Tier 1 boss Zach Spike, which also happens to be one of my oldest "OC"s (although at the time he was just supposed to be that purple cavity monster thing  from Arthur since at that age I didn't have enough know-how to make something truly my own). This was kind of an interesting case since I used to draw this guy all the time as a kid (and therefore dreamed about him a lot) but I haven't been able to find any surviving pictures, so I had to go based both on vague memory and a bit on the original thing he was based on to begin with. Despite being based on said Arthur character, ZS never did anything dental related, rather acting more like your typical weapon wielding supervillain. The name came from the fact I had named him both Spike AND Zach, but could never remember which name I was using for him, so I decided to use both in this case. In Lucid, "bosses" are characters that can be encountered at any point in their introduced tier, and later during late game. While bosses can be found or encountered in no particular order, ZS would likely be one of the first bosses encountered due to how early ZS was created in my (and the in game character's) life.
You can see a more detailed picture of Zack Spike Here: [Lucid] Zack Spike [Tier 1 Boss]

6: [Fakemon] Redraw of my old fakemon Sluggo, which I will be renaming Slugarion (slug + Arion ). Slugarion is a fakemon based on the dusky slug (Arion subfuscus ), one of my favorite all time sluggos. I actually keep slugs and snails as pets, an they're actually a lot of fun to have. Slugarions are slow, slimy pokemon distantly related to the Goomy line. When threatened they will produce an orange, super sticky slime that will completely coat any enemy that tries to harm them. During dry weather, Slugarions burrow under the soil to keep from drying out, sometimes popping their eyestalks out to observe their surroundings. These pokemon are voracious eaters, and will often target gardens for food. If left unchecked, a single Slugarion can strip an entire garden of all plants. Slugarion is a pure bug-type pokemon, and has the ability dry skin.
You can see the last iteration of Slugarion here: giant slug fakemon

7: [Request] Fan art of Rexander134 's lesser sphinx. Three forms of the common sphinx exsist: Lesser, greater, and royal. Lesser sphinxes lack wings and feathers, and are the most common of the three. As one can guess, the three types follow a cast system, with the lesser on the bottom and the greater on the top.
You find more information on lesser sphinxes here: Common Sphinx: Lesser

8: [Lucid + Pterrafroming] The starhopper, a teeny tiny leafhopper equipped with a firefly-like glowing abdomen common in grassy areas in the summer. During the day these minuscule hoppers are easily overlooked, as their plain mint-green coloration and size hardly make them stand out. At night however is where they truly shine. Literally. On warm summer nights, thousands of these tiny hoppers gather together in open fields, blinking and twinkling all together in a silent symphony of light. As nymphs, the starhopper lives in a spittle bubble nest, known as "spittlebugs" to most, which is created from secretions from the abdomen. Unlike most spittlebugs, however, this foam actually glows faintly in the dark. Starhoppers feed on plant juices which they access with their piercing mouth parts, especially that of grasses and sedges, and while H. unlikelus -the dominant species on Pterearth- don't normally keep lawns, sometimes in the dreamscape of Lucid they can be found in droves in human-made lawns.

9: [Request] Fan art of the basic stage of Rexander134 's Dracu line. As with Titanodator's design, I made a few changes to Dracu to make it a bit more basic Pokemon-esque and simpler, along with adding a pair of small wings. I might have made it a bit too cutesy though considering the theme of the overall line though...
You can find more information on Dracu and its evolutions here: Dracu Fakemon evolution

10: Tadpole triops, which considering triops are already called "tadpole shrimp" means they're basically "tadpole tadpole shrimp". Much more tadpole like than other triops, they can easily be mistaken for them, with many disappointed H. unlikelus children finding that their captured "tadpoles" will never change into frogs. They are, however, interesting in their own ways, having eggs that can survive completely drying out and surviving potentially for thousands of years. Tadpole triops are more common around the great lakes of Pterearth, taking advantage of the vernal ponds in the spring to survive and reproduce. When they are ready to mate, hundreds of individuals will gather together in tight swarms, able to survive out of water for short periods of time with their more enclosed gills -which help trap water- to reach these mating pools.
