Description Why my uploads always at one to three in the morning?

Funny story, when blocking this out, I thought I had managed to squeeze in every creature from the original drawing, so I thought "Yes! Finally I can bring back the snail thrush!". Then, after I had completely finished the comp, I looked over to the original and saw the poor kangaraptor, whom I completely forgot :/. Yup, messed that up. Hopefully I can squeeze it into the redo of comp 4. You can see the previous version here: Creature Compilation Round 3

While I only minorly updated the actual designs of the creatures here, Wish Dragon was given a fairly substantial upgrade. He was just way too similar to Elliot, which isn't surprising since he was basically a mash up of Elliot and the Genie from Aladdin that I dreamed about when I was in like, the first grade. But he needs to be his own thing now, if I ever want him to ever be included in Lucid. So I tried to steer away from the overly rounded and soft look of Elliot, instead giving him the sharper and more dinosaur-like arms, legs, spines, and claws seen in some of the other dragon characters of Lucid. I also tried to incorporate some Dragon Tales-like elements into the design, along with some elements of Genie (such as the cuffs) to nod to his hybrid origins. I changed the end of his tail too, now with spines that can act like a hand rather than the tassels seen on the original design.

He still looks like Elliot, but at least he looks a bit less like Elliot.

Anywho, for those who haven't been following the series, the Creature Comps are a group of penned creatures either from my main projects (Galena Fakedex, Pterraforming, Lucid, a Terraria thing, and Wings) or fan art of other people's creatures from their own projects. Think of it as a sample tray for my/other's projects. It should be noted that, unless an "official" version of a creature is posted before the comp itself, all the designs in the comps aren't set in stone and may be different in their final version.

So with that said, let's get right to it!

F = Fakemon, P = Pterraforming, L = Lucid, R = Requests or fan art (Mostly fan art, F was already taken), T = Terraria, W = Wings

1: [Fakemon] Redraw of my old Ferros fire starter Steece. Since I drew/redesigned Bunnire, I thought Steece might be fun too. Truthfully I forgot to add the helmet, it wasn't a deliberate choice, but, I kinda like it so I might keep it. Steece are a cousin of Ponyta, who have become adapted to tough, mountainous environments. In ancient Greece, and then Rome, they and their evolutions were commonly kept as war horses, and were further bred for power and speed. Now however they have become rare, becoming either isolated in their original habitats or passed down on farms for many generations. Steece are an extremely noble Pokemon, defending their trainers and homes from any perceived danger both with fire attacks and with their extremely hard hooves and blade-like manes.
You can see the last iteration of Steece here: Steece v1 [Being remade]

2: [Lucid] Tier 2 boss, the Terror Turkey from Outer Spaaaaaace!!!! Also sorry for the Lucid boss spam, most of the monsters have already been drawn so the bosses were the ones that were left...So yeah it's like a big scary alien bird monster. Funnily the drawing I based this image on was at one point one of my proudest drawings. I might have to scan it in so y'all can cringe with me at my old ass drawing ability. Anyways, this would be a boss encountered early middle game, aka tier 2. Lucid would have 3 tiers in the main storyline, with tier 1 taking place in early childhood, tier 2 taking place mid-childhood to early teen years, and tier 3 taking place mid to late teens to adulthood. Like most Lucid bosses, the TTfOS can be allied with during or after the initial fight.
You can see the original childhood drawing of the TTfOS here (if interested)

3: [Request] Fanart of Rexander134 's ankylosaurus fossil Fakemon Ankylosmash. I didn't change much this time around, aside from making it look a little bit more bulky and straightening out the horns. I also added more spokes to the back and to the tail.
You can find more information on Ankylosmash here: Fossil Pokmon concept #1

4: [Pterraforming] The Michigan riverraptor, a species of aquatic raptor native to the great lake basin of North America. Covered in soft waterproof feathers and lacking the hollow bones of other raptors, Michigan riverraptors live most of their lives in the deep waters of the Great Lakes and dive great depths in search of food. Because the lakes have been fairly unaffected by invasive species like that of human dominated Earths, The population of Great Lakes fishes that the riverraptor feed on have remained stable, allowing the species to continue strong. Because the legs are so far back on a riverraptor, riverraptors are forced quadrupeds on land, one of the few instances of quadrupedal theropods. This makes them extremely clumsy on land, and because of this riverraptor only come on land to make nests and lay eggs.

5: [Pterraforming] The snail thrush, a snail specialist cousin of the famed song thrush. While song thrushes are known to eat snails opportunistically, snail thrushes feed on them almost exclusively, using their highly recurved beak and feet to pry the snail's soft bodies out of their shells. Because of this, snail thrushes do not seem to exhibit the behavior of smashing snails on snail anvils like that of their cousins.

6: [Lucid] Tier 1 boss/supermonster the Pteradon, a massive monster pterosaur the player can encounter. Funnily Pteradons were originally based on a severe misunderstanding I had about Pteranodon; I probably have a little bit of dyslexia, because when I was little, I thought Pteranodons were actually "Pteradons", so when I heard tah-RAHN-OH-dohn for the first time, I thought it must have been like some kind of super "pteradon", and so I made a species of monster pterosaurs based on that. Of course they were incredibly overpowered, with indestructible scales and claws, razor sharp wings, humongous size, etc, as many of my early childhood monsters were. Obviously they wouldn't be that overpowered in the game, although they'll still be tough. Unlike many other bosses, Pteradons are a species, not a single character.
You can see a more detailed picture of the Pteradon here: [Lucid] Pteradons [Tier 1 Boss]

7: [Pterraforming] A male fluttering fruitplucker, a species of frugivorous hummerflapper. Because bats do not exist on Pterearth, other species have come to take up the many niches that they fill in mammalian Earths, with fruitpluckers taking the roles of fruitbats. The unusual upturned beak helps them pluck fruits straight from their branches, which they flit to and fro on their hummingbird-esque wings. Figs are their preferred fruit of choice, and flocks of them will fiercely defend fruiting trees from other animals and rival groups. Like fruit eating bats, fruitpluckers are an important part of dispersing and planting trees, spreading seeds both from loosing hidden caches of stored fruits, and from passing undigested seeds in their guano. While fruitpluckers mostly get about by hovering, they are also able to climb and clamber around.

8: [Lucid] Tier 1 ally the Wish Dragon. This guy was based on a weird dream I had eons ago where basically this weird magical dragon that looked like a mash between the Genie from Aladdin and Eliot from Pete's Dragon came to my house and started causing shenanigans. so yes, he does look a lot like Elliot, but this was based solely on the surviving drawing I had of this guy. In game, while you can be antagonistic to WD if you want, he can't be aggroed like an actual boss. I should mention that "bosses", while are usually battled, can actually become allied to the player, unlike monsters who are usually always hostile (save for some very specific in game plots). WD himself can use magic to both aid the player if they request it, or cause a lot of problems unintentionally due to a somewhat naive nature.
You can see an original childhood drawing of him here (if interested), which shows the obvious resemblance to Elliot

9: [Pterraforming] The greater pteramole, a type of molewing native to the West Coast of North America. Related to the whalewings, pteramoles take to a much more terrestrial lifestyle, digging burrows deep underground in search of food. While pteramoles are flightless like their cousins the seadonts, they retain their cousin's ability to swim, and will often build the entrances of their burrow in or near water. With massive claws, digging is a breeze for pteramoles, who are even strong enough to snap thick tree roots while making their homes. Burrows are usually positioned under trees to help prevent tunnel collapses, and the most used tunnels are rubbed smooth from constant use. Other animals will sometimes use the burrows for shelter, especially during forest fires, which rarely penetrate the deep tunnels of the burrows.
