I love this ship so much!
These lovely horses are (front to back) Tony, Derek Schteiner and Spyromaniac. Tony is a unicorn mare, while Derek and Spyro are timekeeper ghosts, a species created by mariebite787. As such, they do not have a gender. Or, if you prefer, they are basically giant snails, hence the title of this drawing. 
This ship is also called OT3, a super creative name my friend EnderGurl22 came up with and that suits them perfectly.These three are in a wonderfully complex relationship whose details and shades I'm still discovering, but that I can already appreciate for how different and multifaceted each of these characters is and how they still manage to get along marvellously despite that.
This is how I imagine a typical road trip to go for them: Derek enjoys Spyro's company, but sometimes he wishes they weren't so intrusive. However, Spyro is too sassy to stay mad at.
Tony is just happy to spend quality time with them and enjoys the wing+tail combined hug.I hope you like this little bit of fanart! I had a lot of fun drawing this.
I even felt inspired to draw a background that doesn't look like it was drawn by a five-year-old who inexplicably gained access to MS-Paint! 
Also, first time trying to draw leaves, hope they look alright. 
Oh, and the background is based off a picture I took myself during a recent trip to the lake.---

Dare I just say how much I love it?! This is definitely one of the best drawings you've ever made, AND IT'S DEDICATED TO ONE OF MY CHARACTERS AAAAAAAAAAAA

The background is a definite step ahead dude! I can see how you matched the colors so perfectly - it's just gorgeous! Even though it's not as detailed as the drawing that featured Lilly Valley, I still think you've improved. Why? You know what I'm gonna say. ~ color theory! ~
The blues fit so greatly with the greens, and the blue/grey of the ground really compliments it. And the pastels of the characters make it look even better, like, it's really the way it is supposed to be!
(you've mentioned that the background is inspired by the picture you took during your trip, what is it? ^^)
AAAA they are just so adorable together!! I freaking love how Spyro's head is sticking out, they're like "hey, guys, I'm here too!". Aww, his tail even hugs them both. This can not get cuter than that!
My boi Derek looks so confused, oh god, you captured his personality perfectly. Like, he isn't sure what he's doing in here, and yet he enjoys it xD I can even see the patterns on his muzzle and neck, you bothered to look up his very first original reference, didn't you? xD
And Tony, of course. She looks so happy! Her pose is definitely the most complex one, and you nailed it for sure! Seriously, I remember having troubles with horses laying, and Tony looks perfect!

And yes, in this one I managed to keep the colors a bit more realistic than in my Lily Valley drawing, although I can't take all the credit because I used a photo reference. (Yup, I took it on a trip to the Borromean Islands, quite an enchanting archipelago on the Maggiore Lake! I really recommend checking them out

Derek is too polite to complain, but deep down he wishes he had been at least warned he was going to become a pony sandwich between Tony and Spyro

Lenny, using photo references is fine! Moreover, it is accepted! You can’t learn to draw something just by looking at it once. Using references is a must.

*Violent inhaling noises* AHHHHHH this is ADORABLE 0.o The facial expressions and poses are perfect for them as characters, and the coloring is exquisite!
Tony looks so content with her two snail fellows, and is probably even more thrilled to be in such a beautiful location with them!
Poor Derek XD He's doing his best not to let Spyro get all the attention.
I love how you did Spyro's fuzzy ears! And the little peeking face is super cute. Sassy zebra is still in the game XD

I tried to give Derek that "How did I get in the middle of this?" expression I feel like he has from time to time, when being squished between Tony and Spyro.
As for the sand/rock texture, I used a neat little brush MediBang has that puts a lot of really tiny color spots next to each other. It can be pretty versatile, I'm only starting to understand its potential.

It looks like it, but it's not exactly it: you see, I'm not a big fan of MediBang's particle brush (although it does have one). So I picked this, which is called "stipple pen" and would normally create just a line with several dots and blank spaces alternated in it. And I adapted it, I made the brush so big that it became just a bunch of tiny dots of color, which I found perfect for rendering the rock and sand texture. ^^

I've only ever stippled twice, and what a headache it was >.< Thankfully it was that quick-drying artists ink.
