Apologize to those who thought these two are a fluff ship. Truth is, I’ve had a backstory for them in my head from the moment I created Torridia and it’s not a happy one. xD Complicated things ahoy!
But umm… I sorta wanna do a comic explaining Torridia’s backstory and the eff’s up with Grillby, but I’m not good at comics; they take long and don’t look as good as I want them to be.. I might try to do a fanfic thingy if anyone’s actually interested in reading it?
This page is not a start of a comic, I just wanted to give drawing a page a try. ;u;

She's not the daughter of Grillby. They're just both flame elementals. A flame lools like a flame? Go figure...
And her body is a prototype that had been originally scrapped by Alphys but then repurposed for Torridia.

I have the impression that Grillby in order to preserve his on life,or rather flame, he had to assimilate(or "devour" if you prefer) two other fire elementals and their conscious are still active but trapped in Grillby himself. Well that's what i'm going for anyway.

Torridia's text hue is a bit hard to read. i know its her character color but does not change that my poor eyes are hurting.
if you continue this, you could make her speech bubble color the color of her "shoulder plates" so she mirrors grilby's orange flame - black towel as speech bubble colors.

I may not understand what is happening here, but I get the feels of it through the coloring and facial expressions. This had to be a challenge for you mage to covey this with facial limitations. I love this!
