I find it funny that on any item you rent from Ravio it has a miniature version of his mask on it because, you know, it's still his item. (too many its)
Too bad the mini Ravio mask disappears when you buy the item.

Nah, it's there for no particular reason.

And even after you buy it the game still considers it his, but the cost of the energy to use it drops, thankfully.

But it doesn't consider the item his anymore after you buy it. When you die, he only takes back the items you rented from him but if it's yours, he won't touch it.
