Description
Yet another Link and Mega Sableye picture. In Twilight Princess, remember how you had to put a rupee back into its chest because your wallet was usually full?
Well, Mega Sableye's 'rupee' might literally be too large to fit into TP Link's apparently dinky wallet. Link's wallet (in most Zelda games) is full anyway.

It actually makes sense from a programming perspective - whether or not you have a weapon can be denoted by a zero or a one - or a value from one to three if it's an upgradeable weapon.Β But you have to set aside an entire sixteen of those zeroes and ones just for a number that goes from zero to 65,535 - which is actually what the max cap on the 999 and 9,999 wallets is.

IIRC, the original Legend of Zelda let you have up to 255 rupees.

From a theoretical magical physics perspective, you could also say that whatever kind of magical pockets link has, they can take physical matter and transfer it into magical energy, regardless of size or weight, but when there are ten thousand or more, that energy can begin to degrade,Β and make it difficult for link to pull out what he wants.

They just make it false cap at 999 or 9,999 because it's a number more people can make sense of.Β BecauseΒ the average video gamer doesn'tΒ generally think in base 2, they would think that 65,535 is a really bizarre number to limit at.

I enjoy how even the "disclaimer for Link's wallet" -as I shall call it- says his wallet is a dinky little wallet.

XD I hated that line through out any game plays 'You're wallet is full let's put it back...' and I was like oh I'll get this later after spending a bit of money and I always forget if they were in chests. XD Sableye looks so happy that he gets it back through XD

This is literally the worst frustration in a Zelda Game. "Oh, don't even bother opening that chest.Β The wallet's full." Seriously? Who goes back through a deadly temple for 20 rupees? No one.
Oh, Zelda Logic, you fail us again.

You'd go back if you were desperate for rupees. Or if you get lost, reenter the temple, and find those rupees, before you realize you weren't supposed to go back to said temple. (Seriously happened to me)

BullS#*t!!! Link could fit 1,000 of those fudgers in his wallet. Well, it was a red ruby anyway. Those are only 20...when small.

The aim thingy... ain't doing great as it was in HD than it was in GC - you can moving around in HD, but not in GC, which make it difficulty to complete.

I haaaate that. It's like "come on man when am I gonna come back through this temple for 50 rupees"
I think the wallet should be like... an inventory. It should be able to hold 150 gems, and the value shouldn't matter. (Like able to hold 150 green rupees (150) or 150 blue rupees (750).) It makes no sense that it can either hold two purple gems or 100 green ones when they're all the same size
