This is how I think the Pokemon in the 'gender unknown egg group' (or all Pokemon in general) are tricked into breeding with Ditto. If you don't know, Pokemon in this egg group can only breed with Ditto. They can't even breed with their own kind! Just imagine their happiness when they actually produce an egg.ΒAnyway, it's sad that Ditto can't breed with other Dittos.

I think it's sadly tragic. Ditto wants nothing more to be loved and find that special someone, but is incapable of finding love from it's own species, and so to ease the heartache of others in a similar plight, becomes the companion it can never have.

I know right? Why can't ditto breed with other ditto? All I see not letting them breed doing is just making it harder to IV breed genderless pokemon, but that isnt going to stop hardcore players from trying to get those IVs in the right spots. Its seems like an unnecessary slowdown that isnt going to stop the people that want it regardless of the trouble.
