Description Please explore more of my exoplanet visions on my DA "Paleo & Sci Illo" gallery:

This is the planet Gordo. It is over twice as massive as the Earth making it a so-called "super earth". It has about a 1.33 greater diameter than the Earth. This places the horizon line much further away from an observer on the surface. Gordo would appear to be VERY flat. No this is not a human height perspective of sunflower high plants. The observer's POV would have to be from an aircraft at an altitude of over 300 meters to see this view. Each of these native "plants" is the shape of a nuclear power plant cooling tower and taller than the Empire State Building. This shape is how plant life met the challenge of the massive gravity. These growths can get big, but the bulk of their mass is at their bases. The toroidal shape of each "tree" permits support of its incredible weight while optimizing surface area for photosynthesis. For scale the width of the light well at the center of each plant is the size of an Olympic class sports stadium.

Gordo is so massive that it has a retinue of moons like that of a gas giant. Only the moon in the center is large enough to retain an atmosphere.

Keep up the awesome work. Your exoplanets never cease to amaze me. I couldn't forget the name Gordo either, because it is a "fat" planet
