Marvelous work, capturing the essence of this his intense intellect.

He looks like a Holmes from Dunwall in Dishonored

Good decision keeping the two corner characters in black and white(-esque) colours. I can tell this could end up being a gritty storyline. The art style is fantastic too, it looks like the cartoons you sometimes got in old newspapers.

Thank you! Bill has a wonderful, illustrative style. The story is pure Arthur Conan Doyle, unadulterated. We're going back to the classics!

I love the visceral (if that's the right word. Perhaps textural would be better?) feel of your work here - it really leaps out at one

Thank you! It came so naturally to both of us - just kind of fell out! Very exciting!

It's wonderful when something comes together smoothly like that Of course, there are labor pains along the way but some works seem to want to be created!

Very interesting! I like the sharp, almost devious-looking facial features. Looking forward to seeing some new stories on a classic character.

Loving the color on this, and the choice to have B&W carry your focus.

I can only imagine. From what I know of the two of you, (admittedly fairly little, but enough to draw some conclusions) it must have been really rewarding.

Oh. I am in love with this. The style is perfection for a Holmesian tale.

Thank you! We really wanted to be true to the original material - no re-works, or re-imagining... pure old-school Holmes!

Wanted to know who, if anyone, was your inspiration for Holmes: Rathbone, Brett, other? He reminds me very much of Rathbone. And who, if anyone, for Watson? Very nice. Looking forward to seeing it

We went old-school, so definitely there's a bit of Rathbone and Brett in there! Otherwise it's just me and Bill trying to get a sense of him from the text...
