probably one of the best black & white pieces I've ever seen - and I've seen a lot!

My friend, that is just totally evil looking! & the detail is sick! But honestly- drawing all that dark, living-alongsidethe-underworld stuff- does it ever wear on you or affect your mood?

LOL! I really don't think so. I'm about the most gentle guy you're likely to meet, which always surprises people! I think it's a kind of exorcism of violent dark thought, getting them out - it's wish-fulfillment fantasy, imagining what it might be like to be completely fearless, powerful and uncaring. I'm far to sensitive and empathic to want to hurt anyone or anything - but I do enjoy getting it out my system with bad-ass OTT imagery!

Thank you - I like you're pic! Yeah, myself and Brian Holguin created the Spawn: the Dark Ages series for Todd. It was originally the origin of Medieval Spawn - that why it was drawn in Medieval times, NOT the Dark Ages! - but Todd decided to call it Dark Ages and start a whole new series instead. They've made a couple of figures out of my covers now, which is cool.

First of all very nice panel, hell yeah!!! i remember it very well. Actually this serie of comic books is the first that i have read, 'cause this comic - including your art- i met Hellspawn.
I have collected all your issues, let me tell you that my favorite covers are from 13 and 14 issues. By the way six years ago i did a reproduction of one of your vinnetas for my art class in scratch paper. Thank you for upload these panels!!!!

Yeah, it was "Spawn: the Dark Ages", from Image. They keep saying they're going to collect my run, but sadly it's not happened yet.
They've made figures of a couple of my covers though!
