Description
Ok, this is the basic Cyberman model. It's an attempt to integrate the old-style Invasion and Earthshock types into the Cybus men from season 2 of the new series.I can't do organic/fabric shapes, hence the fairly clunky look, but I wanted a slightly less robotic look than the Cybus type. I hope I managed something along those lines!

I'm afraid it's not possible for me to put the model up for download. I'm not sure I still have a copy and it was made in a CAD program format that didn't export well to other programs. Sorry about that!

I quite like this model! THIS is how the Mondas/Cybus hybrid models from Nightmare in Silver onward should have looked. I know the Cybus and Cyber Legion Cybermen easily outclass the Mondasians in every way, but I just wish it had much more of a Mondas influence in design!

This is brilliant! It annoys me how the BBC have ignored the Mondasian Cybermen in the modern run. Even the Ice Warriors are getting a look in!

Well, the way I see it, they *have* been showing Mondasian Cybermen over the past couple of seasons, they just haven't had the budget for new costumes!

Well, they claim that the ones from Nightmare in Silver onward are hybrids of the Cybus/Cyberlegion models and the Mondasians- and Neil Gaiman has developed a theory on how the two kinds of Cybermen became one. But again, too much Cybus/Legion influence and not enough Mondasian.

I actually like this a lot better than the Cybus style. It's way more detailed, and it looks less like someone could even fit in the suit, so it makes it that much more realistic. And the "spine" is a neat touch too!
