The Daleks! Mutated creatures born in neutronic war! The advanced war-machines shelter hideously deformed creatures bent on the domination of all of space!

Streamlined and powerful, the casing requires regular recharging from the atomic reactors of the Dalek City but at full strength can take on an army! With their deadly ray guns and cunning minds, the Daleks are the terror of the spaceways! Peoples of the universe, beware!

I do love Ron Turner's stylised art, produced for the Dalek Chronicles in the TV21 comic. It looked infinitely better than the attempts to depict the Daleks as they appeared on screen, which quite frequently resulted in very malformed casings. That said, he was not what you might call consistent - the number of panels on his Dalek's skirts changed from panel to panel, all depending on what he needed to make a particular shot work. I've averaged it out and gone for ten.

Detailing this was interesting. A lot of the charm of the Turner design is its simplicity. I hope I haven't over done it...
