yes, it's not nicely written indeed. and that's a big disadvantage of this tutorial, which is, despite the bad and dull explanation, pretty nice

I'm doing it pretty much the same
I think it's the basis correction in PS.
Oh and by the way. I think that some of your photos even don't need correction in PS. They are lovely without all this make up.
